Reclaiming Your Brilliance: Finances, Suppression and the Soul of Money
Money is a current of energy, not a measure of worth. When suppression, jealousy or bullying dim your light, the path home is to unagree with the theft and stand fully alive inside your own truth.
Money is not what we were taught it was. It is not paper, not numbers on a screen, not a verdict on your value. At its truest level, money is a current of energy. It is the flow of life moving through our hands, through our work, through the exchange of trust between souls. When you understand this, you stop seeing money as something to chase or fear, and you begin to feel it as something you are meant to flow with, to direct, to keep in alignment with your own north star.
But many of us were handed a broken relationship with that flow. We were taught that money is scarce, that we must fight for it, that those who have it deserve it and those who do not have failed. None of that is true. Scarcity is a spell, cast early, and it keeps the soul small. Abundance is your natural state. The question is not whether you are worthy of it. The question is what you have agreed to, often without knowing, that is blocking it.
There are forces of suppression that rise when a soul begins to shine. Sometimes they come from outside, sometimes from the very structures meant to protect you. When your brilliance threatens a room that has grown comfortable in its dimness, jealousy answers. People who have not done their own inner work will sometimes try to dim the light in another, because your light reminds them of what they have refused to become. This is not about you. It never was. It is about the unrest your presence stirs in them.
A workplace can become a mirror of the playground. The same dynamics a child met on the schoolyard, the ones no adult stood up to stop, return dressed in meeting rooms and performance reviews. Bullying in the workplace is an old pattern wearing new clothes. When management looks away, when the one with power protects the one causing harm, the soul is told a lie it has heard before: that no one will stand for you, that you must survive alone, that your light is dangerous to show.
That lie is the wound. The bullying is only its messenger. The real harm is not the words or the exclusion. The real harm is the way it teaches you to abandon yourself. You begin to shrink. You begin to hide your ideas. You begin to carry the blame for someone else's darkness. And slowly, without noticing, you hand over pieces of your source.
Your source is the wellspring within you. It is your creativity, your knowing, your life force, the very thing that draws abundance toward you. When another steals from it, whether through jealousy, control, or silence, the theft is spiritual before it is ever financial. They are not taking your money. They are taking your belief that you are allowed to shine.
So how do you unagree with that? You stop consenting to the lie. You look at the place inside where you accepted that you were the problem, and you say to it, out loud if you must, that you no longer agree. You withdraw your permission from the story that says you must be small to be safe. Safety bought with your own dimming is not safety. It is a slow erosion.
You reclaim your power by first remembering it was never really lost. It was covered, not gone. Your brilliance did not leave you. It was waiting beneath the layers of protection you built. Those layers were necessary for a time. Thank them, and then ask them to soften, because you are no longer the child who had no one to stand for them. You are the one who can stand for yourself now.
Standing in your truth means you no longer perform someone else's comfort. You speak what is real. You set boundaries that are not walls but doorways, and you keep the key. You let your work speak. You let your gifts be seen. And you do not chase the approval of those who only feel safe when you are less than you are.
When your finances feel blocked, ask what they are mirroring. Money follows alignment. When your inner being is aligned with your worth, with your truth, with your willingness to be fully alive, the current finds its channels again. This is not a promise of instant wealth. It is a promise that you will stop leaking your life force into structures and people who never intended to return it.
You are meant to collect yourself. To gather the scattered pieces of your attention, your energy, your sense of self. To reform around the truth of who you are, not who you were told to be. To grow, not by climbing over anyone, but by rooting deeper into your own ground. And to show the world, not for its applause, but because a light kept hidden eventually becomes a weight.
Let yourself be fully alive. Within boundary, not behind wall. Boundary is the shape of your self-respect made visible. It lets you give freely because you choose to, not because you are afraid to refuse. It lets you receive openly because you know the difference between a gift and a chain.
No one can steal from your source without your agreement. The agreement may have been made in fear, in a child's voice, long ago. You are allowed to undo it. You are allowed to take your energy back. You are allowed to step into your finances, your work, your relationships, and your true identity with both feet on your own ground, looking up at the same north star that has always been there, waiting for you to remember you were always meant to walk toward it.
Your brilliance was never the problem. It was the answer all along. Walk through that door, and let your life change.
